چکیده
The study purpose was to compare the effects of concurrent resistance and aerobic training and/or alone on body composition, muscular strength maximum oxygen uptake in overweight obese men. Materials methods. Twenty-four (BMI = 23.0 – 29.9 kg/m2) volunteers who were male students from Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, aged 19-22 years assigned into 3 groups: 1) group (RT), 2) (AT) 3) (RT+AT). 45 minutes per session 2 days week. Body composition along with (1-RM) (VO2max) measured before (2-3 prior) after post) a 5-week period. Results. Waist circumference significantly decreased all three groups, but RT+AT also found improvement percentages fat-free mass (0.49 ± 0.49%, p 0.021, mean SD) skeletal muscle (1.01 0.95%, 0.025) when compared their baseline. Similarly, 1-RM leg extension increased while RT (47.67 14.85%, 0.01) (42.08 21.70%, 0.039) showed substantially larger AT (20.37 13.97%). Finally, VO2max groups (baseline post-intervention), though they not different between groups. Conclusions. Concurrent can reduce waist increase mass, VO2max. Therefore, this strategy may serve as useful alternative way improve overall physical fitness health promotion population.

Introduction: During Ramadan, type and amount of energy intake dramatically change in Muslims and fasting individuals often reduce the duration and intensity of physical activities or avoid exercise during this month. However, one of the major issues of trainers and athletes is lack of training, which could have adverse effects on some cardiovascular parameters. Methods: This research was condu...
متن کاملEffect of body build on weight-training-induced adaptations in body composition and muscular strength.
The aim of the present study was to investigate whether weight-training-induced adaptations in body composition and isokinetic strength differ as a function of body build. Body build of a subject was characterized as the extent to which a person's fat-free mass index (FFMI = fat-free mass.height-2;kg.m-2) differs from the regression of FFMI over fat mass index (FMI = fat mass.height-2;kg.m-2) a...
